Thanks and this is my 1st post!
I have a 2000 John Deere 5045e with just a little bit more than 900 hours that has started giving me an issue! After about 1 1/2 - 2 hours of running, it will start loosing power and start blowing white smoke from the exhaust! After it sits for a while and cools down, it runs fine again until about that same hour and a half to two hours! Any idea about what’s happening would be greatly appreciated! I’m not an excellent mechanic but I have done mechanic work on tanks and artillery while serving in the army! This tractor reminds me of a vehicle that we called “wet stacking”! NOT SURE about tractors though! Thanks in advance!
