Tires 5035 Rear wheel ballast - anti corrosion ?

G'day,
my first post on here with recently purchased 5035 with only 248 hrs on the clock! After fixing a slow leak in rear tyre with a plug I realised that wheel had no water in it, so I 3/4 filled it like the other however I got to thinking what should I use for corrosion protection ? As my old tractors have tubed tyres and this one is tubeless..
I assume you just use Engine coolant ? I couldn't find a real lot of info on it here.
Very happy with the tractor so far, as I traded an old Ford 5000 and Iseki on it. This one is very "modern" and appears quite solid.

In the US, many of use use Rim Guard - made from beets. It's non toxic and has a high weight/gallon. Others go a cheaper route and use RV anti-freeze, used to protect RV water systems rated to -50F. You may have to replace the air valve for one thats designed for fluid filled tires.

Our Environment Protection police would get their noses bent outta shape using engine coolant in tires.

I have Rim Guard in the rear tires. I think it is around 70 gallons per tire. 1550 pounds in total.

I would suck that pure water out of both tires and mix in an anti-corrosion product before pumping it back in. RV anti-freeze or windshield washer fluid. If you aren't bothered by freezing conditions there could be other additives also. Something used strictly as a corrosion inhibitor.

I would strongly recommend against any type of salt additive - sodium or calcium chloride. It can be extremely corrosive.
