Mowing 5010 PTO Issue

When I press the PTO button, the light and PTO indicator light comes on but my PTO does not engage?

I would check that you have not pulled the wire off the PTO solenoid. Real easy to have a stick poke up there and do ' stuff ' ... If your 5010 is like my 2555, I think it is under the right side floorboard area... [ if I still can remember... ]

On mine I have to press the PTO button and engage the PTO lever to make things go.

The 5010 only had a solenoid to engage pto rather than a lever to manually slide the collar onto the shaft.. the 6110 had this but not the 5010.

Your solenoid is either stuck or your not getting power to it.... if its stuck you can manually push it in with a hammer and punch

Thanks everyone. It was a broke wire going to the solenoid that is under the right floor board.
