Oil & Fuel 50 hr.service & Synthetic oil change??

I am taking my Kioti DK40se in this week for its 50 hour service.Should I run regular oil for another 50 hours or could I switch over to full synthetic oil.I would like to switch to a 5W-40 syn. for easier starting in Michigans cold climate.Thanks for any Information,coobie.

When I went to change the oil at 25hrs wallace said it was fine to switch to synthetic then. I'm waiting till I do the 50 hr to switch since I couldn't justify the cost.

I have been meaning to post this because I too want to switch over to synthetic.

The side cover on my tractor has a sticker that says to change the oil at 35 hours, but the manual says 50. So what should it be ? I too want to change over to synthetic before the cold winter temps. arrive.

I did a search earlier on this 35-50 hr.service and also came across a post on this 35 hour sticker on the cover.I would also like to know the intervals 35hrs or 50hrs for a oil change?coobie

I switched to 5w-40 synthetic at 50 hours

At the little cost of oil and a filter, I would say it is best to do it early than have to pay for it the long run. I am going to do mine at 20 just to be sure everything is wearing right.
