At 46 hrs I decided to get this done. I researched a lot of previous posts for the 50 hr service on this tractor before I tackled it and the info given here was of great help. All went smooth until I noticed trans fluid leaking at my suction screen cover. I snugged the cover bolts a little more but still had the leak. I ended up going to a dealer and purchasing a new o-ring for the cover. I drained off 3 gallons into a clean container pulled the cover and changed the o-ring. So far nothing is leaking. At $1.84 for the new o-ring, I will include that in my items to get for the next transmission service.

I hear ya Greg. $1.84....whew. I won't be so lucky with my 445. I also discovered a trans leak on that. It is leaking near a shaft on the side of the trans that the reverse pedal linkage is connected to. Some type of seal around the shaft I am assuming. The problem is getting to it.

My v-bars are on there way!!!
