I bought a ck25hst with FEL and Brush Mower. Very happy with it as I have cleared a ton of my new 5.2 acres with it.
I just started the 50hr maint and came across a minor problem.
Engine oil and front diff/axle were no issues.
I got a HST Filter for the Transmission, but didn't realize that I needed another filter (for underneath) so I need that to finish. What is that filter called? I believe the manual calls it a transmission filter, and the one by the pedal is the HST filter.
So here is the question. The manual says change the filters again at 200hrs. Do you lose a lot of oil when you do this?
What about the drains? On the bottom of the tranny is a large plug, but the manual say there are 3. Where are the others? It looks like there might be 2 more below the brakes? on each side of the tranny? Is this correct?
Any tips for changing the transmission fluid?
Also, how do you change the fuel filter? Looks like you can just spin a metal ring above the clear bowl and take off the bowl. Is this correct?
Bucket Shutter:
Today I was leveling some soil and when on a steep incline, bucket up, I would get a funny shutter in the bucket dump like it was a little low on hydraulic fluid. Could this be the case?
Thanks for your help.
