Oil & Fuel 50 hours. Almost a year to the day!

I agree. I've got a CK30 that's 5 years old now with just under 300 hours on it. I moved another 40 tons of rock this week for the driveways, mowed about 6 acres in the back as well as the trails and put in postholes for another pasture. I couldn't picture life without it now , it may not seem like alot of hours to some of the guys, but i've enjoyed every minute of it :thumbsup:.

I have 91 hours at 8 1/2 months. Moving snow and walking my snowmobile outside with it doesn't add up to much time. 40 of the hours were in the last 6 weeks.

9 years and 500 hours last week. Reading early posts I decided to rough out tractor costs verse renting or having some else. Tractor, implements, and fuel at $3.5 a gallon come out to a shade under 30 G's. Gotta estimate on fuel costs as I'm sure diesel in 03 was probably $1.80 a gallon? I had an acre cleared one year and that was $4000. I've cleared at least 4 myself so that is 16 right there, nice down payment on a cut, and I plan on clearing 1 more this year not included in cost to date. Machine work in my area 75-100 an hour. I'm cheap so say 300 hours at 75 is $22,500. Rental in my area for tractor or mini E close in specs is 175 a day. Rental costs were $10937 excluding $165 delivery charge as is to hard to figure delivery fees. Rental is the cheapest way to date, but I would probably not be grading the drive way with a rental, I am still cheap. So here it is
