Tractor time, for your L3830

1. go to page 67 in your owner's manual and look for the fluids you will need for the 50 Hour service.
OIL - 7.1 quarts p. 75
Kubota UDT (Super UDT in cold climates) - 11.4 gals. p.80
Sae 90 gear oil - 6.9 quarts for 4WD front axle case p.85

2. You will need to replace your:
Engine oil filter p.80
Hydraulic oil filter p. 81
Transmission oil filter (HST) p. 81
(Note the transmission fluid (HST) and the Hydraulic fluid are the same Kubota UDT (Or Super UDT).

3. Adjust you brake - p. 78

4. Grease the tractor p. 72

5. Check the starting system p.73

6. Check the wheel bolts. p. 75

Nothing to it.

I would also clean the radiator screen, blow out the air filter, wash the tractor and tell it, it is a good. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the advise on the 50 hour service, and I plan to do it myself next weekend. I still have 10 hours to play (I mean work) before I hit the 50 hour mark.
