Kubota RTV 900
Just picked up our RTV900 Kubota from an Ontario dealer after getting the 50 hour recommended service. The bill was almost $700. Has anyone ever had their 50 hour maintenance done from a Kubota dealer? Is this price reasonable?

That is a GREAT motivation to learn how to service it on your own! Ouch!

I recently did my RTV1140 50 hour service. 3 filters and 5 qts of oil. Took longer to remove/reinstall rear plate restricting acess to the very visible filter than all of the rest of the job. My first time with the RTV and it didn't take an hour or maybe an hour total. I believe I'd question this bill with the owner.

It's not apples to apples but my dealer charges 500 or so for the 50 hr service. Parts and labor.

I had my B2320 50 hour service included in the purchase price & it was $300 value. I can do stuff myself but was bargaining.

Heck, I thought that was pretty high!

I agree. "removing the filter guard" is the most time consuming part of the whole job. Very simple to service.

The most troublesome for me the first time was greasing the U-joints. I solved the problem by using a floor jack to lift the rear end, allowing me to then turn the rear wheels and gain better access to the zerks.
