My l3200 manual says not to change the hydro fluid at 50 hours. I don't want to rehash the issue but maybe we can take a poll?
At the 50 hour maintenance point what did you do knowing Kubota does not recommend it?

Hydraulic fluid will go several hundred hours before you even need to worry about it. I guess I am continually amazed why so many people get confused by the 50 hr service. Filters only.

Every other week this question is asked. Why change the fluid if they don't ask you too?

When the tractor is built, they have all these parts integrated together into the "system", and things like pumps and gears and everything in the tractor wear-in when used for the first few hours (burs, sharp edges in general, smut from heat treating that didn't get completely cleaned out, dirt, etc). You swap the filter because it's job is to collect and trap all that junk as it's circulated through the plumbing. Once you've achieved break-in, you change the filter so it's not loaded up with the break-in debris. The oil itself hasn't been worn yet, it's just been transporting the crud your filter has taken out.

Exactly.

Do you change your automobile transmission fluid at 50hrs (3000 miles)??

Just follow the d*mn manual. Clean any strainer, replace filters, but don't waste your money on the hydro fluid at 50 hours. Oil is another matter.

My B3200 was HST and I only changed the filters at 50 hours. Changed every 400 hours after that. 1200 hours no issues. Traded for L3901. Just changed filters at 50 hours.
