50 hour first oil and fluid change

Fixin to change the engine oil and hydro oil for the first time on my DS3510 with/FEL (50 hr), Can anyone give me any advice what oil's that they are using that's commonly found and good to use? The closest parts houses near our small town are are a Parts Plus and O'Reilly's
Any other hints and tips you can give me will be very much appreciated also.
As you can see I'm very new to the diesel tractors.

any oil that meets the manufacturer's specs is fine.

I chimed in to warn you to buy a good filter wrench for the hydraulic filters. They will be very tight. Very. A strap wrench will probably work the best... Grease the rubber gasket(s) on reinstall and you will be fine forevermore.

Thanks for the heads up holycow.
The kind of filter wrench I have is the Automotive type that takes off automotive type of oil filters. I have the large and the smaller band type.
You said "They will be very tight". I take it they don't put any oil on the gasket when they installed them at the factory. Sounds typical just like the auto manufactures do still to this day. They can also be very hard to get off.
This my sound like a silly stupid question but again I have never messed with diesel engines. So I ask the question....Is there a difference in the oil you put in a diesel crankcase compared to a gas engine?

Yes, the diesel oil has more detergents and other additives than motor oil for gas engines. The theory is that diesels create more soot, hence the need for more cleaning.
I am sure you will get many responses questioning the value of diesel additives in their lubrication oil, but I have not found it to be much more expensive at Tractor Supply, so I use it.

Rotella or Mobil diesel oil are readily available safe choices. Make sure it is specifically for diesels. Most engines today use 15w-40.

I've been using Rotella 5W-40 synthetic since my first change at 50 hours which helps with the cold Winter temps here. If your Winter temps aren't to bad then a 15W-40 diesel oil will be fine. I believe your manual should also say a 10W-30 diesel engine oil. If you have a Tractor Supply Center near, their TSC brand premium hydro oil is good. The tractor uses a 10W-30 multi grade hydro oil. An O'Rielly's open up here a few months ago but I haven't checked what they have.

Thanks for all the advice guy's!!!
I found the air, fuel and oil filter's at O Reilly's but had break down and go all the way to Kioti for the hydro filter. Also thanks for the info on which oils to use also. Plan on getting this done this weekend.
BTW, I tried Tractor Supply for the filters first but couldn't believe that they didn't carry any of the filter's for the DS3510. They had the oils though.....

Fixing to have my 50 hr service done tomorrow, I'm just going to drop it off at the dealer tonight and let them do it while I'm working Wednesday. That way Thursday I'll be ready to start bush hogging the next several days.
