Box Scraper 5' Box Blade Install on Jinma 284 (or, related type units)

Hello Fellows:
Just wondering if any of you guys can give this old dog a new trick or two, by explaining "How to Hookup a Box Blade" to ones "28 Hp Unit (Jinma, or others sim.)?

I've just received the Box Blade, and "all the trimmings" were deposited in a heap. I don't mind; but, I'd like to know "What Goes Where"?

If anyone has been through this business before, I'd be glad to accept training and advice! Photos sure would be nice too...but, I don't expect help to include the kitchen sink- I know you folks have other things to do as well.

Huh?

You mean that you bought a box blade and it isn't assembled? If so, it would be nice to know what brand you have. There probably is a person here with that unit that can help exactly. A picture is worth a 1000 words...

For approximate help... There usually are 2 cutting edges. They go across the back and across the middle. Attached so that the middle one cuts when the unit is pulled by the 3pt the back one when it is pushed.

The scarifiers go into a cross bar from the bottom and the points go toward the 3pt. The attachment of them should be obvious, usually a pin or a clip.

Using the box is simple. Drop the scarifiers to loosen up the soil. Shortening the top link of the 3pt will tilt the box forward and make it dig more aggressively with the scarifiers and without. You can use the box either with or without the scarifiers --> depends on the soil condition, content and traction. You can lower one side of the box to angle a trail for drainage or to form a crown.

Feel free to ask as many Q's as you need to.

Thanks for the posting John! Well, actually- I did get the Box Blad 'assembled". My question (I guess), would be: Where in the heack to all of those arm attachments with 'turnbuckles, etc" go?!!!
I can guess about where-But, I thought perhaps rather than do a half rear-end job, I might be much better off asking those who have "Been there, and Done it".
Yes, I'd sure love to have a photo or two, to assit; but, again, I know folks have better things to do, than trying to search up, or photograph something for me (I'd not mind doing it for someone-though).
So, there I'm at, at this point-just sitting-staring, scratching (whatever!), and trying to figure it out.

This one needs more explaining. You say the box blade is assembled. There shouldn't be anything else left but to hook it up to your 3 pt. hitch. Do you have a 3 pt. hitch setup for attachments on your tractor? If not, that might explain the turnbuckles.
