Yes, they are made by John Deere, Mountaineer, Kubota, Ventrac, and possibly a few others.

Yes, I have a x585 w/4wd and along with the HDAP tires, I don't worry about getting stuck. Even in snow and the tires are buried, the garden tractor keeps going and going and going! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Read the PM test drive on the 585, they say its like a small tank but you pay the price on the machine.
