I will be needing a box blade for a bunch of different tasks: clearing area to build stone base for driveway & pad, excavating moving spoils away for a house addition, etc.
I'm not sure which size box blade. My tractor is a Kubota B9200. It's a compact tractor & weights about 1700 lbs (w/o FEL). I would expect that the FEL will push the weight beyond 2000 lbs. The outside dimension from one rear wheel to the other is 55". The tires are AG & pretty good size 12.4-16. I also plan on getting the tires loaded. So, total weight will then be 2300 lbs.
I would like to cover the rear tires, but am concerned that a 60" blade may be too much. So, looking for opinions on 48" vs. 60".
