48 cub. Will this swap work? Pics

My great grandfathers cub that is in great shape needs a job. Don't have use for this belly mower. Would like to get a set of middle cultivators.

Do you guys think someone would trade this mover for a set of spades??? Any idea what this mower is worth.

I don't want to get rid of this for sentimental reasons. But I need to find a use. Thinking it would be a great garden tool. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I found a guy down the road that is wiiling to make a deal. I have to pick through a pile o parts and cobble one togethor. I think he will only want a hundred bucks or so.

I'm thinking that mower is worth a little bit more after looking around.

You are right that the cub is a great cultivator tractor, in my opinion the best there is. I have one but it needs a clutch job right now. I finished the old one off this winter plowing snow. I am still debating if I want to try and fix it myself or sub it out.

Did you do the clutch job. I've got a 48 cub that also needs a clutch job - used it for snow, pushing gravel and hauling a dump trailer with gravel. Great tractor.
