4720 FEL question

I been looking at this tractor and need some info on how the loader mount is attached to the tractor. I can not find a good picture showing this. Is the loader mount attached to the middle of the tractor only, or does it also have rails going to the rear axle? Would love to see a picture showing how it is mounted.

Here's a pic of the tractor mounting frames that go on the side of the tractor. The loader rests on these frames, then connects at the front frame. The 2nd picture in the next post is of just the loader sitting by itself, the part that is on the ground behind the bucket is the part that would lock onto the front of the tractor frame.

Once you use the hydraulics to get everything into position when mounting it,, there is a catch on each side / on the inward side of the uprights that you just flip over to lock... Can be done from the drivers seat.....

It works VERY well...

is best if you park on hard surface like concrete,,, the 'feet' built into the integrated stand will sink right into dirt... I use long boards, one on each foot, they need to be long as the feet 'slide' accross the ground as it is being attached/detached. Also need fair amount of surface area to keep it from digging into soft dirt...


There was a video on its operation somewhere........ online... I dont recall if it was even on tractorbynet.com,, compared it to kubota loader..... very good to see it in motion....

I just found it about a week ago...

Wish I had seen it before / when I first got my 4720

I was afraid to attempt removing fel... But got the dealer to demonstrate it to me so if it got broken he could take care of fixing it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Deere has been improving stuff on their site..
For the caliber company they are I'm surprised they havn't done much more video and web site developement.

They just added this video when the 3000 twenties came out / or in the general time frame......
