4720 ComfortGuard Cab Heighth

Can anyone supply me with the heighth of the 4000 series tractor with the comfortguard cab with the 17.5-24 industrial tires?

For whatever it's worth here is the only reference that I found and it is not specific....85.3 to 89.2 inches.

Looks like it varies from 2168 - 2266 mm height with cab, which I presume depends on tire type. The tire size you list is the only option for R-4s that they list. I'm not sure if whether the relative diameter of the different tires provided with that tractor in other words is the R1 larger in diameter than the R4 or turf?

Millimeters per inch = 25.4; so the height in inches = mm/25.4 and that's 85.3 to 89.2 inches the way I figure it.

The height with R1 tires is 95.4" from a brochure I have. I would guess the R4 tires to be 3-4" less.

radman....That makes more sense than my calculation which was based upon the metric height quoted in that JD UK spec sheet. If you notice in that UK sheet, Deere quotes the height with ROPS as higher than the Cab which I'm 99.9% sure is incorrect.

Actually, the height listed in the brochure for ROPS is 97.2", but it doesn't specify tire type.

I have a 4720 with cab and R4's....it will just BARELY fit in my 8' tall garage doors.....barely!

!!!! I have 95.4" of garage door height - If I had known it would fit I would have got a 4x20 series cab instead of my 3720 cab...

Regarding the ROPS, they are much higher than the cabs. I had a 3320 open
which was much higher than the 3720 Cab I have (When it had the same tires). - That fit through
my 95.4" height door with not too much to spare.

I guess they figure you can fold the ROPS so they make them higher. Folding a Cab would be tough..
