4720 CAB to be delivered today

I cant hardly wait for my new tractor to arrive. Not sure why I am so excited-I trade every 2 years or so. I have owned many tractors from a 285 L&G tractor up to a 5203 and have 7000 and 8000 series tractors on the farm but this 4720 has really got me excited...

Getting a new tractor is always an exciting time. Like I always say, work will seem more like play at least till the novelty wears off. Enjoy your new 4720 and let us know how you like it.

Hey Steve how do you like your PC1072 cultivator?? What kind of soil conditions will it really handle?? Can it plow through standing vegetation?? Is it IMATCH compatible??

I use the cultivator primarily in places I am not familiar with instead of running my tillers. I prefer to find buried wire and loose metal stuff in fields and pastures before I have a tangled mess. As a cultivator I find it lacking compared a rigid or spring trip model with proper feet.

At one time these tools seemed more useful to me and that is why I bought it but now with a wide variety of implements available to me it doesn't get a lot of use. Years ago I didn't have landscape rakes and tillers and these field cultivators were used to comb and clean up new areas.

Congrats!!! There is a 100 hour used cab 4720 at my local dealer. Stopped for my first close up look at one. I know why you're excited. This one is a big lawn mower with turf tires and a 72" 9 iron MMM /400cx FEL asking price is 30k what a SWEET lawn mower. Its been really hot this summer - I finish mow around 12 acres - Know how you like to think pleasant thoughts at night when trying to sleep - last night it was me in that cab .....
