Ford 8N
Just looking for some info on my "47" Ford 8N.
I want to find the best trailer to haul it. What specs should I consider?
Also interested in its value. Its not in show condition ,but it is very clean and is in very good working condition having been fully rebuilt in 1962 and again about 8 years ago.No broken parts as far as I know. We use it around the place all seasons long. Wood chipping, cord wood cutting, brush hogging,
york raking, grading, etc. Runs like a clock! Could be a show machine with a repaint.
Thanks
Dave

About any 7k car hauler will haul it just fine. The tractor only weighs about 3k. And is pretty short.

As to value....whatever you can get out of it. I would first wonder if it was indeed an 8n or if it is a 2n? They made both in 1947. If a 2n, in good working condition, around me would be about $2000 TOPS. And that would have to be in about perfect condition with good tires, no leaks, etc.

If an 8n, same thing but maybe $2500 tops.

Any chance you got some pics of the tractor.
