4600 SU losing power

Has anyone ever had an engine lose power, such as at 2200 RPM's going down the road and then drop to 1400 RPM's and then come back up after a short moment? We replaced the fuel filter and it seems to make no difference. It certainly appears to be a fuel problem. Any thoughts on what one would test or replace? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

hi a very big problem on these tractors is the fuel valve in the under the tank the screen on the valve falls off and the small hole in the valve plugs up drain the tank and remove the valve clean or replace this should take care of the problem good luck Gary
