4600 Deere - 48 backhoe attachment plate binding with the 3rd SCV cable.

I installed 48 backhoe brackets on my deere 4600 subcompact, and the 3rd scv cable is conflicting with the long nut. The cable has to loop over it to get to control underneath, and makes the fender lever really hard to operate.

The long nut is identified as EE in the MX17772 diagram on page 15 of the Backhoe 48 Operators manual (I tried to attach the page but the forum would not allow) and holds the tip of the large plate on both sides, however it's the one on the right side that is binding with the SCV cable.....Dan

Am I missing something during my install or what?...thanks.....Dan

Possible to re-route the 3rd scv cable? Might mean drilling another hole in plastic fender.

K, i'll take a look and see, it's just that the blocking piece is right in front of where cable attaches. Do you have any pictures or desscription of where I might drill the hole?....Dan

How about a pic of the offending block/bolt and the cable ? Might help diagnose or make a suggestion.

I didn't drill a hole for the 3rd scv cable on my 4300, just routed it around the rear edge of the fender. Has not presented a problem either in the woods or with chains on the rear tires.
Your 4600, being a larger size, may be different.
