Is it possible to get a third valve on a 4500 tractor with 460 loader?

Yes, but probably not from JD anymore. Take a look at WR Long, they will have a true 3rd function kit for your machine.

I believe if you look at your current loader control valve it is actually already there. Just needs the linkage to run it and hoses for oil. Kit is probably not available anymore but did not come with a valve anyways. You should be able to easily fix up a cable ran lever and DIY everything in to operate the valve.
