My BH850 has 3 teeth. Do you not like the tooth in the middle, and want a gap there? Why do you not like the set up?
With three teeth it seems to leave way too much dirt in the ditch when raking the bottom. It is harder to grab the smaller rocks and stone. I also think it puts too much stress on the single tooth when prying up rocks and it is also harder with a single point of contact. I cannot understand why JD did this unless to save a buck or two. I am sure the driving force of three teeth is better than four but I bought a small tractor with a small backhoe and I can live with it's limitation. Heck, my old #7 had five teeth. My plan is to grind off the center tooth and weld two new ones on.

Let me know how that works out for you. Been looking at mine since you mentioned it. Soon as I get the frame modified I will have at it and give my 3 tooth report.

Had to do some work with it yesterday, worked out well, just like my old #7. By far better than 3 teeth. My wife said a 16 inch bucket with three teeth is just stupid, she does not use the hoe all that much but enough to realize three teeth did not make sense.

Checking back in, you still have the tooth in the middle and only added ones in between. So maybe it wasn't the tooth in the middle but more the GAP?........? You did nice dentistry though!
