4520R Hydraulic Screen

Getting ready to change out hydraulic fluid and filter.

Anyone familiar with whether or not their is a screen that needs to be flushed out and the location/process for accessing it?

Owners manual does not address.

They refer the screen as "strainer" on the Service Manual. The hydraulic filter runs on the intake side of the pumps, if you follow the big pipe that goes to the transmission case, there should be like a triangular flange bolted to the case. If you want to really clean it, you might have to remove the big pipe and the flange.

Here is a pic from the manual. I marked the pipe that needs to be removed in order to access the screen.
