IM starting to look at BH for my 4510. Stopped at JD dealer and they quoted me about 8000 for a complete setup (BH, pick up and delivery, power beyond, etc). THey are going to drop the price since its the older model.
Any cost savings going with a woods or similar non JD brand? I have not looked into them yet. I dont want a 3 pt type so I would need a frame mount woods. Also, Im aware of the ease of swapability with the JD setup.

If it were me, I'd spring for the JD. We have a 4510 with 48BH at a private hunting club I help run, and for our purposes (using lots of rear attachments) the ease of attach/detach on the 48 is a dream. I don't know if you use or plan on using different rear attachments, but even if you don't, the value of your machine would be enhanced by adding a same-brand BH that utilizes some of that nice engineering on the 4510.

Woods Stuff is awesome

But buy the Deere. The RSA is the only way to go.

I have a 4510 with the 48 BH. I am a skinny guy, & I can say for certain that it is not likely that anybody over 200 lbs or with any amount of beer drinking evident in their mid section is gonna fit on that seat! It works great for me, but I don't see how a big guy would ever be able to work it. It is a great tool & only takes about 10 minutes to hook up or unhook once you get the procedure down.
