4500 valve

have a jd 4500 with fl and when it is not running the bucket and the loader it`s self will fall. Is this usually the valve? And can the valve be rebuilt? Come to think about it the bucker will drop even while running but not near as fast. Thanks

On my 4300, one of the lift cylinders blew a seal. If I didn't keep "bumping" the lift lever it would slowly fall to the ground. The trick was figuring out which of the two cylinders it was...had to switch them with the curl cylinders one at a time. Lucky they were the same..
