4500 Mahindra is this the right tractor??

I am looking to buy this 4500 Mahindra tractor with 225 hours, front end loader, 7 foot bush hog for $11000. Does this sound like a fair price. From this forum and elsewhere, it sounds like these are wonderful tractors. Also, would this be the right tractor? I have around 150 acres, maybe 60 acres cleared and in fields or pasture. I am only keeping it bushhogged which will be about the only use I will have for the tractor with a little front end loader work here and there. By the way, the closest dealer is about 35 miles away.

That is a great price, for so little hours, Mahindra is a great tractor and you won't be dissapointed, if you don't buy it, let me know where it is located, Have a friend who likes my 4110 and might be interested.

From the prices I've seen, I'd say that it is priced pretty good. I know of a 4500 without FEL for just under $10,000. If you like the way it looks, I'd say you've probably found yourself a tractor.

papasmith,i bought a new 4500 in jan. 04 with a 18x6.5 trailer,20/20 disc,6' cutter for 14,000..it does not have the fel,so i would have to say that you are getting a good deal and you will love the 4500,i love mine!! by the way is it 4wd or 2wd?

Papasmith - I say it is an excellent price for a great tractor and accessories. I would probably be safe to assume it is 2wd for that price - buy it! I certainly know for a fact and after paying full price for mine, it was still a good deal for me.
