ok, im going in first gear up slight incline, push in clutch to stop and it does but it doesnt roll backwards, go to pull it out of gear and its stiff pulling it out and when it pops out then it rolls backwards.. i adjusted the freeplay but it didnt help. does the clutch just need broke in more? i have 125 hrs on it. what are the symptoms of too much freeplay and too little freeplay? HELP! i dont want to burn up my clutch.

Couple of things. Sometimes I can "feel" the same things you are indicating on the 6000. Usually when the gear oil is still cold. Also, 1st gear is sooooo low that the gears are probably acting as a "brake" as well. Try this: go to the same hill in 4th or 5th gear, stop and see if it wants to roll back then? Also, check the "drag" on your brakes. Sometimes new disks on brakes need to be "smoothed" out some before they don't drag. Good luck and I don't think its anything to worry about. Your clutch should only last about 30 or so years.....BobG in VA

it was about 7/8", then i tried 1", then last night i tried as little as possible and all three adjustments its still the same. it really does seem normal, but im not sure. it seems like a syncro thing of some sort. like if im not on a slight incline it dont try to creep fwd or anything like that.
