dk 4510 kioti and a 450 case track loader
I have had a case loader about 6 mo. had a hose on the torque converter bust ..changed that. but while changing that I broke a brass fitting, used a easy out to remove it .. I think I got some brass shaving in the converter,,i know it cant be much...I was told that the screen would catch it....anyone else have anything like this happen? also the controls are the three leavers between your knees,,,but there is also one by my left foot that I don't have any idea what its for ....thanks for any help bruce

I never had anything like that happen, but I guess you could drain the system, and clean the screen a couple times, running for a short period of time. and see if you catch anything. If it shows anything, change & clean again. Even if you have to do it more than several times, has to be cheaper than internal damage.

The lever by your left foot, is a shifter for low & high range. And I'm sure by now you know you have low & high on the two taller levers between the knees. The only time we used the floor low & high, was if we needed to tram a good distance, even then, only ran in the low side on the center levers. Before trying to shift it, might be an idea to remove the floor pan, and spray penetrate on the linkage, and work it back & forth. Dirt/dust and moisture can make them hang up.
