John Deere 4300 tlb
I just got a 4300 Deere with a 4 in 1 bucket. The previous owner went on and on about how great they are compared to a fel with a regular bucket. Does anybody else agree with him? I dont have any experiece with this type of bucket but it sure looks like it will be handy. Would it be as handy as a graple? I think I will like it. Are there any disadvantages?

Give it a shot, and let us know how you like it.

Is it a 4400 or a 4300?

Is it a 430 loader?

I miss spoke in my original post. Its a 4400 tractor with a 4300 loader with the 4 in 1 bucket. Since posting this I read a couple of threads on it. I did notice the bucket didnt have a single ding or tweak in it. IT is much heavier built than my standard bucket on my 4300.

It's the excitment resulting from buying the new (to you) tractor...no problem!

Neat thing about having a 4300 and 4400 is that you can easily share implements, most parts will fit either tractor (not filters and such though) and there will be absolutely no learning curve for operation...except for the 4 in 1 bucket.

So, did you buy the hydraulic components (for the 4300) you had gone to the dealer for...before you got distracted?

Just to clarify, it's a 430 loader, NOT a 4300 loader.

No I didnt buy the parts I was looking for. My dilema is (was):) that I have a nice 4300 tlb for home and work. What I wanted to do to the 4300 is already on the 4400, Rear hydraulics and front scv for the 4 in 1 bucket and a mower deck. Whenever I need the 4300 at home its at work and vice versa. Plus taking off the backhoe everytime I wanted to mow or run the harley rake would have been a pita. So I now have one at each place with some flexibility.
