4400 HST transmission flush

HI, I'm new to the forum.
The screen filter at the bottom of the transmission on my 4400 keeps getting clogged up bad enough that nothing works. I clean it and it happens again. I already wasted about 15 gallons of Low vis Hygard. Is there a way to flush it or only a dealer can do it. It looks like the bottom of the transmission is dirty, but I do not see an easy way to take the bottom apart.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wow. What is the material that’s plugging the filter? Continue to drain/clean until it clears up. But, maybe you can reuse most of the fluid if you can strain it?

I think it would be important to find out why the screen is constantly being plugged. Can you show us some pictures?

Typically a fill and drain a couple of times with filter changes is enough to clean out the system.

I take it you were lax on maintenance and never bothered to change the fluid in a timely manner?
