completely ignorant here folks. grew up around a farm and tractors, drove them, road them, worked them, never bought one. got a quote on a 4310 package;
tractor & epower reverser, code 4515 industrial tires,code7010 D MD control valve, flat bar draft links...........15,700
430 CP FEL, hood guard, 61 inch material bucket........3200.00
GM1060R finish mower..............1950
frontier PHD200 with 9" aug.................1050.00
total with freight and (discounts)..........$21K
good price or not..........what say you?

I'll say.....a bit HIGH.
My eHydro with mid pto, R4's was $15.4k
430 loader, 72" bucket, rear tires loaded w/ RimGuard $3.3k
John Deere 72" mid mount mower $2.4k

IMO your power reverser package should be around $20k.

dmp, that sounds like a heck of a deal you got. i'm looking to buy a 4310, and the best i got so far is about $2k more than yours. i guess i need to keep looking, or i need to get mine where you got yours.
did you get the dual mid & rear scv?r4's? that is some extra $$

Mine setup included the dual valve to run the loader and the mid valve (with rear QD's) to raise & lower the mower deck. It also included R4's loaded with RimGuard and the "automotive style" cruise control upgrade.
My deal came from a "small" dealer that's been in business 70+ years and is now owned by a farmer. The building isn't much to look at and there's not 3 examples of 20 models sitting all over. I see this setup and think "low overhead". Contrast this to a dealer about 35 miunutes away in a brand new multi-million dollar building on prime commercial property. He's got LOTS of tractors sitting around, both inside and outside. His price was $2k higher along with a "big dealer" attitude even though I've known the salesman for 15 years.

From watching many of the posts on here I feel really good about the deal I got with mine.
4310, 300 Loader, epwr reverse, R4 tires, out the door for $17,300.00. There was no tax of course since it is for the farm. The dealer sold me the 60 inch tiller at cost for $900.00 out the door. I still need a good box blade, but that will have to wait a few weeks. Oh, the tractor did have the $750.00 off due to the John Deere special they are running.

That seems like a good price considering you got the new 300 loader. I bought the same tractor with R4's and a 430 FEL for $16,900 with tax.

I did get the $750.00 cash off with the JD special my dealer had going on last month. I've got about 7 hours on it right now, I like it so far...... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
