4310 E-Hydro Stops after 30 minutes

My Dad's 4310 will just stop like you pulled your foot off the pedal after about 30 minutes of run time. The engine and transmission seem to be in perfect mechanical condition. After the tractor sits (turned off) for about 30 minutes it will run fine again for about 30 minutes.

I bypassed the seat switch and still have the problem....

I'm trying to decipher the flashing code.....

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!

What is the flashing code.. post the picture you see. Probably some kind of warning indicator that is cutting the trans out.

Good thing that you weren't in the middle of an intersection or a railroad track when all that modern technology decides to flash a lamp and cut out that 'perfectly good working order' transmission.

I'm glad none of my gear tractors flash a lamp then disengage the tranny.... one reason why I'm staying gear till I have a good reason to do otherwise... There is something to be said about a solid mechanical connection between the rear wheels and the crank shaft / starter.. etc..

Post back.. and good luck.. hopefully it is a easy/cheap fix.. and not one of those 'holes' that you have to wad up money and stuff in till the hole is filled.
