Price Check 4300 Pricing in the NE

Looking for what people have gotten for pricing for a 4300 with the larger loader and industrial tires in the North East. I have seen a big differences in prices from region to region and most dealers here are within $3-500 of each other. But, they are higher than what I have seen posted here.

I posted this about 2 months ago but here it is again: JD4300, HST, MFWD, Tall Folding ROPS, Mid PTO, DSCV, 3rd SCV, Telescoping Draft Links, 55 amp alternator, brush guards for hazard lights, auxiliary forward lighting, 430 Loader with 61" HD bucket, 48 Backhoe with 18" bucket, and 60" commercial mid-mount mower fresh from the factory for $27,900 + tax. I live in central New York. Hope this helps.

They had one out here that was 4x4 had the loader power reverser came with a brush hog- I believe it was jd or modern. anyway nice setup for 18999.00 and that was the price hanging from the steering wheel.. Dont know if that is good or not..

Unfortunately no./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif The dealer was reluctant (to say the least) to divulge how much he was trimming off of list price on each item. I compared his prices to a couple other dealers around here and he gave me the best deal, so I jumped on it. When I asked about the cost of the backhoe and 18" bucket if I bought them separately at a later date he gave me a price of $6200. Hope this helps.

The price I got is; $16975 for a 4300 Hydro w/foldable ROPS, DSCV, MFWD, Heater.

JD 430; Loader W/61 HD Bucket. Ballast Boro, Hood Guard Bucket Level Indicator. $3370.

Prices seem high to me.

Hey you're right here in NW Connecticut like me - we're practically neighbors/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

When I was tractor shopping I was initially disappointed because the price quotes I got were higher than those I saw here and on the CTB. Once I got over it, I decided not to worry about the price fixi. . . . uh, I mean the differences from region to region, and just made sure I found a dealer I liked and trusted. Not sure where you've been, but one of the JD dealers I went to was in CT and their prices were even higher than normal (that was on a 4100). They made up for it by being condescending and not very knowledgeable.

Have you checked these sources on the web:

They may give you a 'ballpark' idea.

Good luck. By all accounts the 4300 is a terrific machine.

Just to let you all know, I got quotes from 5 local dealers including the dealer that I liked the best and the closet to my house (only 5 miles away).

They were the highest priced dealer but after some talking today they are going to sharpen their pencil... He agreed and I am awaiting to hear back from them.

I am thinking that we are close to a deal here so, I'll let you know.

We live in the same area. Which dealer did you end up with and why? I'm having these heretical thoughts, which I will hide and lie about to the Kubota forums, of trading my 2910 for a 4300.

I purchased it from the dealership in Unionville. Closest, nicesest to deal with, the owner came out to chat with me to discuss anything I wanted.

Price wasn't the lowest but the come and pickup and deliver for all service during warentee. They are moving into a larger site also and they could get inventory (attachments) quickly.
