4300 plastic control knobs

Would anyone be able to tell me how to remove plastic knobs on PTO control shaft, also plastic knob on rocker control lever. Thanks

The PTO knob unscrews and for the rocker control, the knob doesn't come off rather you have to remove two bolts on the lever from under the seat and lever comes off. That isn't too difficult to do.

Thanks for info. I am changing the shift range shaft on my 4300 HST which broke off at the oil ring grove and wanted a little more room to work at it. Thought that the plastic tops should come off fairly easly but could not remove. Its what I thought but wanted to ask.
