430 tractor

model 430 tractor 1985 or 1986 with a yanmar cyl diesel. First problem is engine will spit and sputter and no throttle with alternator plugged up. Runs good when a alternator unplugged and has throttle response. Alternator has been checked and is okay. Second problem is with pto engaged it has no throttle response. Any ideas on what to look for?

I would think you have a governor problem in the injector pump. sounds like when ever you give it a load it isn't getting enough fuel or way too much fuel.
