When I bought my 422 back in 2000 I would have liked to have gotten the 1430 but I did not want to spend the extra money. I love my 422 I jump on it and just ride around my property lots rather than taking the Polaris Ranger it is a lot easier , not as fast but you can use it to repair trails as you go. I also have a 1845 slope mower I use mostly for mowing and snow removal.. My 422 has over 3,200 hours on it with very little problems ( replaced motor last year and had several wheel motors rebuilt) and I use it pretty hard sometimes.
