4210 purchase

I am looking at a used John Deere 4210 4wd 2004 model year with loader and
5' brush cutter. There are 159 hours on this machine. It is in like new condition. Asking price, $17,800.00 Is this a good price?

You sre asking if this is a good price, not why is an '04 low hors 4210 on the market, and wilol it be satisfactory for an uplandwoods property. The price may be fine, you can use machinefinder to find similar units.

It is very likely the previou owner found that the 4210 was underpowered for their needs. I would be concerned about that as well. If I were looking for a machine to work in a nursery on flat ground, I would think it is great. Now, there are many happy 4210 owners, you just need to see where you fit. And with the 3x20s just getting out there, there should be lotsa 10s to choose from soon.
