on the jdparts page for 420 loaders, under hydraulics, there are several listings:

42 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES ( -008801)
44 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES (008802- )
46 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES ( -011131)
48 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES (011132- )
50 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES ( -013054)
52 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES (013055- )
54 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES ( -012814)
56 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES (012815- )
60 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES ( -013117)
62 - HYDRAULIC HOSES AND OIL TUBES (013118- )

i presume this is the serial number? checking on the QD fitting, and my guess is that they stuck w/ a certain style for that serial range. looks like mine falls under the latest batch.

thanks.
Dave

guess i have it right, put the fitting # into the parts search and the description comes back as to what i need. i thought i tried this before and there were no specs on it, but i either had a different part or i didn't see the specs.

tried to delete the original post but can't, so maybe it will help someone else who is unsure.

Sorry for the delay...yes the #'s in the () are serial number ranges.

You need all new hoses and lines on your 4300, defed?

BTW, as I type this, I'm in Westfield NY...about 80 miles south of Buffalo. Going home tomorrow (Friday)...

i just need to replace a couple QD nipples on the loader side that leak out of the poppet when left disconnected. 2 leak, 2 don't...so i never take the loader off. i have some on the way, and once changed, i will drop it more often as i think that it will be nice to mow/brush hog w/o it.

Definitely nicer to mow...might need it for hogging though (or front weights).
I haven't tried dropping my 430 loader off yet, but when mowing, the bucket comes off. I've got to figure out where I'm going to park the loader before I drop it off. It's bigger then my 790's 419 loader and that 7' Befco RFM makes leaving it in the garage pretty tough...space is getting tight.

the fittings came today, will try to change them tomorrow.

i used the same hog on my ford 600 w/ no extra front weight, and it worked ok. not sure how the front end weight of the 4300 compares, but i'd think it should at least be equal, if not more, due to the bigger front axle. guess it depends on the engine weights, which i don't know the spec of either.
