42 Inch Zero Turn Toro Mower

I have a new Toro less than 6 months - the engine stops when I engage the motor. I replaced the seat switch and still has same problem. Also pulls to right. What is the problem - I have a manual but it does not address this issue.

I'm sure that was a typo (motor - mower).

The "seat switch" may not have been the problem, but a broken wire to the S/S might be the problem.

The pulling to one side, might be the steering linkage out of adjustment. This should be covered in the manual.

Was a typo-is mower. The seat switch came all as one piece and a plug was put in at the bottom. The manual does not show a S/S wire nor does it show traction adjustment. I have a parts book that I had to get from the internet-was not included with my mower.

The wire connections are most likely to come apart at the connectors ... pull on each wire gently, to see if it comes out. The steering adjustments should be obvious by following the steering rods to the controls. When, the controls are in the neutral position, the drive should not turn the wheels.
