4110 , Some seat time finally

Finally got a chance to put a few hr's on the 4110 today. Mowed some but really couldn't get where I wanted to without makeing a mess, kinda surprised it was still that wet. Swapped the mower for the box blade and played with it for a while. Luvvin' it !

I know how you feel - I busted the ring & pinion gears in my front diff about 5 weeks ago and I just got my tractor back together late this evening and drove it around for maybe 15 minutes to check it all out - felt good to be in the saddle again even if it was only for a few minutes. Now I can do my friend's bushogging next weekend and get a half a day in. I've got a little to do around my place here but nothing pressing this time of year.

How much air are you running in your rear tires ? In the pic they look like they might be a little overinflated but hard to tell for sure in a pic.... I run 11 psi in mine to get a really good footprint but my tires are loaded too, are yours ? Whether they are or not the best way to set air pressure is to see when the bars on your tires make ground contact all the way across, drive in some dirt or sand and look at the pattern. I think you might find that yours are only contacting in the center of the tire mostly - alot less traction. On my front tires I run 38 psi - need good air pressure for loader work. My front tires are 12 ply and extremely stiff sidewalls and the treads stay nice & flat across even at full air pressure for good traction in 4wd.
