4110 pto change gear stripped how to replace

HAs anyone changed the pto change gear on a Mahindra 4110? I have taken the top off and can see the gear in the case, but am wondering if I have to split the case in order to get the pto change gear out? Thank you, Nathan

It is the shaft in the top part of the picture, you can see the stripped out gear. How do you remove the shaft with the stripped out gear on it?

I believe there is a cap on the rear of the rear housing that you remove and that lower shaft will come out through the hole, after you remove the cap. You may have to unbolt and drop the draw bar, to get to the cap.

There is cap behind the draw bar, how do you remove the cap, it is not bolted in, just a flat cap and I could not see how it comes out.

It is just pressed in and you will probably damage it, getting it out, and have to replace it.

Ok, I will give it a try tomorrow. When looking at parts diagrams I don't see that plate anywhere any ideas where it would be found what it is called?
