When using the FEL to push dirt, grubbing etc. while going forward the tractor is fine. When I back fill without putting much strain on the tractor it will immediately lug and shut down. This happens so quickly you do not have time to depress the clutch. This did not use to be a problem. Fluid levels are ok. Clutch pedal free play is within specs. Oil pressure fine. temp is fine. Tractor runs and rolls smoothly in fwd or rev. Shuttle shift is a little harder to move into / out of gear than i remember.

Help

When you say backfill, exactly what are you doing? Your engine should never be lugging. My guess is you are back dragging at an extreme bucket angle with your wheels off the ground.

No. Light pulling of dirt backwards. bottom of bucket is vertical so it does not dig in. wheels on the ground.

it shuts off like my lawn mower which will shut off if mowing in reverse.

Tks for reply
