I have a 2004 model 4110 that isn't getting fuel to the filter. My question is, is there a strainer or filter in the fuel tank itself. Looks like it might be a pain pulling that tank off. Would hate to take it off for no reason.
Can you look into the tank? Perhaps there is sediment in the bottom. If so, you will have to flush it. I don't know if you will need to remove it to do so. The manual for my Mahindra recommends periodic draining. However with 585 hrs. on mine, I've never drained it.
I would disconnect the line from the tank to the filter on both ends. Then I would blow it out. If the blockage is in the line, you don't want to blow it back into the tank.
Om my 4310 there is a position on the valve to drain water. That would let you know if there is and fuel coming through the valve at the bottom of the tank.
