4110 can't lift bush hog

I bought a King Kutter Heavy Duty 72" bush hog, and thought it should be fine sized for my tractor, a Mahindra 4110. But now that I have it assembled and hooked up, the 3 pt can't seem to life the cutter. It'll lift the front of the cutter where the pins are, but the rear rides on the ground. It acts similar to how an implement would act if you were trying to lift it without a top link attached. Any ideas? Both KK and Everything Attachments are closed for the weekend so I can't make any calls, so I thought I'd try here. Something I need to adjust in the 3pt setup? The 4110 is rated for 2,865lbs on the rear lift, so it should be able to handle it just fine, no?

You might want to try and shorten the top link that should help.

I'll agree with the advice to shorten the top link but also suggest there are usually two or three sets of holes for the top link on the tractor.

Just chiming in to agree with the above posters- put your top link in the top hole and shorten the top link as much as possible

Years ago I had to buy a second top link, and when I got home, found out it was too long.

Didn’t realize that there were different lengths available. Couldn’t tell just by looking at it alone in the store.
