4110 - 4115 replacement

I can't seem to keep up with the numbering system Deere uses. It seems every couple years they change the model numbers and maybe the hood style. What is camparable to the 4110 series in weight and power ? I notice alot more machines are gear drive. Are they cutting costs to make them appear a better value ? A subcompact in my estimation needs a hydrostatic. For yard work it is comfortable ( not like their cheap seats ). A three speed version would even be better.

I'm not going to ask the salesman. He will talk me into another unit that I have to have.
