A couple of days ago my 4105 died while I was cutting the field and now it won’t start at all

It died like I stood up out of the seat while in gear and now doesn’t even attempt to crank. Battery tests okay and the lights come on. I have triple checked that I am in neutral, the PTO is off, and I am in the seat.

I don’t know what else to check or try and I would really like to get it out of the field.

How did you check/test out the battery? Load test or just volt meter?

Did you check the wire for the “in seat switch”?
Have a 2520 & it has gotten loose a few times (2 pin slide on connector on bottom left side of chassis on the 2520).

If the lights come on but starter won't engage I suspect a safety switch is not satisfied. It could be a bad switch or the wiring to it.

You said lights come on. Does this include the lights in instrument cluster? Have you checked for blown fuses?

Just a volt meter. I finally got the tractor jumped off and back to the house. Battery reads 12.6-12.7 volts but tractor still makes no attempt to start. Pulled the battery and plan to take it to get tested/replaced.

I did check the seat switch. I finally got it jumped and moved, so I assume all the safety switches are working okay now

Front lights come on. My instrument cluster is completely non-functional. I did end up having a bad fuse (F05 - Ignition Run Power) and replaced it. Hopefully a battery replacement will get me back to working.
