Of the 4100, 4010, 4110, and 4115 models can anyone tell me which have an aluminum and which have a cast iron transaxle? I've heard the gear 4100 is cast iron but the HST 4100 is aluminum, just wondering what the facts are.
Also which models have steel hoods and which have fiberglass or plastic.
Do they all have split rear brakes?
Can any of you owners actually measure how wide your tractor is to the widest point on the sidewalls and which tires you've got? Can the rears be switched to narrow or wide stance on these models.
4010 owners- do you think the HP is sufficient for a snow blower or do you wish it had just a little more?
Sorry for all the questions but the more I research the more questions I have. I've got limited access to tractors around here, pretty much just the new ones at the dealer. Just trying to find one that will fit on a 48" sidewalk for snow removal but still be useful with a bucket and forks for the summer.
Thanks,
Roger
