Has anyone with the newer 35 series tractors had any type of issues with the shuttle shift stuck in either forward or reverse. Mine will not come out of Forward. Just curious before i bring it in to the shop as it will be there for months probably.

Look for some twigs/debris in the linkage underneath...

Well i brought it to the dealer this morning and stated my case and the first thing they said was "syncronizer gears", apparently they have been having a few issues with this. Man i havnt had very good luck with tractors except for my trusty old Yanmar!!!

I have a 4035. Not what I wanted to hear. God they all have their issues. I have a 1948 John Deere G and all it does is run. I suppose its the simplicity of it. But modern tractors are that complicated. Get it together.

Doesn't seem likely to be syncros, I'd expect linkage or a rollpin that backed out of it's hole or something simple like that.

Well i went and picked up my tractor today. After they split it into and looked at the internals and found nothing, they reasembled it and come to find out it was the bracket that holds the neutral safety switch and was binding with the shift lever. It is almost impossible to see what was hapening with out tearing the floor boards completly out. At least it wasnt the internals, now i feel much better.

I was pretty sure it wasn't internal, but this is good to know. That's the beauty of TBN. Someday somebody else will run into this problem, search and read this thread and have a quick fix. Thanks for sharing.
