Alright I want to know the lowdown on the 4720 cab tractors. I am considering one for maintaining 80 acres. Will this tractor pull an 8 foot set of disc? How big of mowers do yall pull? How bout round baler? Are you happy with the tractor and hst tranny? I test drove one and the hst reminds me of a lawn mower not a tractor, but i feel it is something you get used to. How are the loaders? Is this tractor capable of hard work? How many hours on your machines? How is fuel economy and is the e-pto available?

Thanks Jim

Thanks for the info. I would like to know real world usage from folks not just stats and statistics. My wife really wants the 4720 with hydro I personally liked the 5325 with power-reverser. I do like the smaller size and turn radius of the 4720 though.

I have a 4120 and 5203 both non cab. The 4120 is a power reverser and I love it!!

You will NOT like your 4720 when baling...

More than one newbie farmer here in VT went to a used 70HP AG tractor for doing baling and tillage activity after trying a 4XXX...YMMV

What part of the baling will you be doing with the 4720?

We just put 13 hours on a 4720 open station raking hay. I think it is time to upgrade to 2 cab tractors. 106 degree weather and haying sucks to say the least...

Darin I was hoping to be able to pull a small 4x5 round baler on about 60 acres of hay. Could just use it for raking though. I really liked the smaller size frame and turn radius for everyday tractor chores around the farm. Thanks for everyones input so far... Jim

Which baler are you looking at?

The baler loaded might weight a lot more than your tractor. On flat ground it might work.
